William D. Anderson II, 31, of 24098 State Route 12, Apt. 3, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 24098 SR 12 with second-degree burglary, a felony, third-degree grand larceny, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Anderson is accused of entering and remaining in a dwelling and stole items estimated at over $3,000 at about 1:05 p.m. Feb. 16 at 158 E. Hoard St., according to court documents. He allegedly damaged doubled metal doors to an outdoor shed and damaged a plastic coat hanger during the burglary, police said. Anderson is accused of stealing a w**d grinder, $20 worth of quarters, six button-up dress shirts, a lab grown diamond, a 10g 16k gold nugget, a Boss watch, a Citizens watch, a Korean coin, a Purple Heart honorary medal, and a ring, according to court documents. Anderson was held for arraignment in CAP Court. In 2021, other criminal activity such as fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Mr. Anderson is accused of damaging a dresser when he pulled a drawer out and stomped on it during a domestic incident at about 2:47 a.m. Wednesday, according to court documents. He is also accused of grabbing his 33-year-old girlfriend, punched her while she was laying in bed with a 4-month-old boy and kept pulling her from the bed, police said. He was held for a video arraignment, police said.
