For nearly 15 years we have partnered with U.S. Army Fort Drum & 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum Police, and the Watertown Police Department - NY for EVOC - Emergency Vehicle Operator Course. EVOC instructors from all three agencies work together to prepare police recruits for the rigors of emergency vehicle operation. Often cited as one of the most enjoyable parts of the police academy, recruits start classroom instruction and then practice basic driving techniques, precision skills courses, and pursuit termination tactics, culminating with mock vehicle pursuits where all of their new skills are put to the test. Fort Drum provides closed track space at Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield to make it all possible.
