After recently graduating from the police academy, both officers have officially taken the oath and are now ready to begin this next chapter with the Watertown Police Department.

The Watertown Police received multiple reports of overnight vehicle break-ins in the following neighborhoods, including:

Riverside St, Royal St, Ladd St, Ladd Pl, Patten St, Gilkey Ct, and Wollitzer Ln.

Approximately 30 vehicles have recently been broken into. Please lock your vehicle doors and if you notice any suspicious activity call the Watertown Police Department 617-972-6500

We are seeing an increase in vehicle break-ins, especially involving unlocked vehicles. Help reduce the opportunity by remembering to lock your vehicle, remove valuables, and take your keys with you.

If your vehicle is broken into or you notice suspicious activity, please report it to the Watertown Police Department at 617-972-6500.

Please join us in welcoming and congratulating our newest Watertown Police Officers, Officer Delaney Sherman and Officer Brandon Latin.

Officer Sherman and Officer Latin graduated from the MBTA Transit Police Academy today! They will now return to the Watertown Police Department to complete the field training program.

Congratulations to Officer Sherman and Officer Latin on this accomplishment. We look forward to seeing all they accomplish as members of the Watertown Police Department!
