You can cast your ballot from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at either:
🏛️ The County Building
🚒 The Depauville Fire Hall

And don’t forget tomorrow is also the LAST DAY to register to vote for the November 4th General Election!

If you still need to register, stop by our office on the 1st floor of the County Building we’ll be open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM to help you out.

WATERTOWN, NY – During the routine audit of uncertified election results, staff at the Board of Elections identified a discrepancy between votes reported on the County website, and the number of ballots cast. Staff quickly realized that mail-in ballots had been reported twice on the County website, which accounted for the discrepancy. The County website was immediately updated to reflect this change.

It is important to note that election results posted on the County website, and reported by media outlets, represent unofficial, uncertified, and unaudited vote totals. The staff at Board of Elections have a thorough election auditing checklist that includes manual auditing of ballots and machines.

Official election results will be certified only after the remaining mail-in ballots are received and counted, and the full audit procedure is complete. Manual by-hand recounts are initiated in any election where candidates are separated by 20 votes or
less, or by less than 0.5% of total ballots cast.

Official election results, including any manual recounts, are expected to be certified by the end of next week (July 4 th ).
