On Friday June 12th, CAPC's Colleen Mayne-Butler (Head Start/UPK) and Shawnea Hull (Child Care Resource Center) graduated from the Jefferson Leadership Institute. They join a growing group of CAPC staff who have participated in the JLI Program. Congratulations Colleen and Shawnea!

We are at Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Health and Wellness Fair at LaFargeville CSD today until 1. We have information about child care, Head Start and Pre-K, Housing and Energy Services, and the Family Center. Stop by to see us and the other organizations - lots of great information here today!

We know summer break can be a busy (and expensive) time for families. That’s why our Summer Meals Program is back to provide FREE, meals for kids and teens ages 18 and under.

Last night was our annual GROW with Community Action event. This year it was extra special as we continue to celebrate CAPC's 60th anniversary, and we were thrilled to invite our community to celebrate with us. It is an absolute honor to support community engagement, the sharing of community resources, and family bonding. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!
