The city of Auburn has some financial issues similar to the City of Watertown. They are planning on making the unfortunate but necessary decisions to maintain a level of financial stability needed for a City that plans on moving forward. I also plan on this as the future of Watertown is the highest priority for me. The reason I ran for council and the reason I am in this position is because I wanted to insure we would be in the right position when the tough times come. Those times are here and the time for those decisions are now.

Auburn city leaders are weighing tax increases and potential job cuts as they try to close a nearly $5 million budget gap, a situation residents say has no easy

With the rise in assaults, vandalism and other illegal activities I would urge residents to contact the Police Department if they see anything of concern. The non-emergency number is 315-786-2601 and the emergency number is 911. A resident reached out to council concerned because they saw (and documented) people carrying baseball bats and wearing face coverings. Also someone carrying a machete. Please call the Police department first. And do not engage the people of concern. There is a marked uptick in the aggression level of some of these individuals. Thank you.

Unfortunately, someone or multiple people decided to destroy the restroom facilities at the North Junior fields recently. These fields are paid for by the taxpayers of Watertown and for the use of many. I would like to know who did this. I am offering a reward of $250.00 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. The damage makes the entire facility unusable for the foreseeable future and will add expense to the rec. budget as porta-potties will have to be rented for the Summer season. If someone knows who did this please reach out to the Watertown Police Department.
