The Volunteer Transportation Center of Watertown, New York is a non-profit organization that provides essential rides to health, social, and other destinations for residents of Jefferson and Lewis Counties who have no other transportation alternatives. Supported by the United Way of Northern New York, the Volunteer Transportation Center utilizes volunteer drivers to provide service to communities

such as Watertown, Adams, Adams Center, Clayton, Henderson, Carthage, Croghan, and Lowville. Thanks to the work of our certified volunteer drivers, staff, board of directors and the generosity of our donors, we are able to help others that have no means of transportation to medical appointments and grocery shopping. Our goal is to make a difference in people’s lives by giving access to the health care they need. The Volunteer Transportation Center is a 501c3 non-profit. Partner Agencies

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY! Our own Jeremiah S. Our condolences go to the family of David Edgar, a long-time volunteer for the VTC, who passed away recently at the age of 87. Dave will be greatly missed. GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE! The Volunteer Transportation Center is working with the American Red Cross to promote its American Red Cross Blood Drive slated for Monday, June 1, at the Pamelia Town Office Building, 25859 State Route 37, Watertown. The drive will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Those who donate will receive a voucher redeemable for one pre-packaged pint of ice cream or gelato from any Stewart's Shops location. In addition, donors will receive a $15 E-gift card by email. All while supplies last. In addition, donors will automatically be entered for a chance to win a $7,500 gift card. Two winners will be drawn. Appointments may be made online https://rcblood.org/4nNOcQQ and selecting the drive at the Pamelia Town Office Building.
