of Watertown Fire District. The Town of Watertown Fire Department is organized to protect and save lives, suppress and control fires, perform rescue operations at emergency situations, and perform such services as deemed in the best interest of the members and the citizens of the Town of Watertown Fire District. In performing its duties, it is the commitment of the Town of Watertown Fire Department to provide the highest possible level of safety and health for all members and to operate in the safest possible manner.

The Officers and members send our deepest condolences to the family of longtime member and past chief and fire commissioner Dick Tanner You were a staple in the dept. And we Thank you for your past leadership and commitment to the board of fire commissioners over the years. RIP

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Past Chief and Past Commissioner Richard “Dick” Tanner. Thank you for your decades of service. Rest in peace.🪽

TWFD sent 2 chief officers and 2 firefighters this year for the second annual Port City fire conference. We would like to thank the city of Oswego fire department, SUNY Oswego for hosting this yearly event. Looking forward to next year. Thank you to the Fire District for allowing us to keep attending this conference.
