Did you know that The Book Nook is the biggest fundraiser for The Friends of the Watertown Library, Inc.? It is staffed by volunteers and stocked with donations. Volunteers help by cleaning and sorting books, restocking shelves, and cashiering. Volunteers work for a two-hour time period weekly. We also have substitutes to fill in when needed.

The Book Nook is currently seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks, including hospitality, programs, membership, publicity, or behind-the-scenes work. We invite you to consider volunteering for a shift at our bookstore. Please contact us via message or visit us in person.

Did you know that you can drop off your used and new books at the Book Nook in Oakville, CT? We are seeking book donations, so please think of us as you clean out your home library. You can drop them off during our open hours of operation, or if you are local and have a heavy load, please reach out and we can try to arrange a pickup. Thank you, Friends of the Watertown Library.
