On June 7, 2026 @ 3:19pm Town of Watertown Fire responded to Sam’s Club for a Fire Alarm & CO Detector on the roof going off. Upon arrival crews found high levels of CO in the building and roof. All customers and employees were evacuated until levels were safe to go back in the building. TWFD responded with 2 Engines, 1 Ladder and two Assistant Chiefs. National Grid was called to the scene to secure the gas.

On June 6, 2026 @ 7:25pm, A 911 call to a rollover accident on Ives Street Road extension just off SR 232. Town of Watertown Fire, upon arrival crews found a vehicle on its side with entrapment. Companies stabilized the vehicle, removed the windshield and extracted the person inside the vehicle. A job well done by all 12 crew members on the scene.

Drafting Operations Training was held last night at Station 1.
Drafting operations is pulling water from natural or static water sources using a fire engine’s pump instead of a pressurized hydrant.
