NextGen Climate Waterloo NextGen Climate is creating awareness about the importance of preventing climate change and increasing the use of clean energy.

NextGen Climate is calling on candidates and elected officials to tackle climate change -- the defining issue of out time -- by producing a plan to power America with more that 50 percent clean and carbon-free energy by 2030, putting us on a pathway to 100% clean energy by 2050. The transition to clean electricity is urgently needed, technologically achievable, economically beneficial, and politic

al popular. Here in Waterloo and Cedar Falls we take a holistic approach to follow this goal. We create spaces where we get the climate-change conversation going and, by partnering up with different organizations, we include in our conversations other issues that affect our communities and are in may ways related to climate change.
