Today, Cedarhurst is celebrating Willie’s 103rd birthday!

Born in 1923 in Prairie du Rocher, Willie has lived a life full of strength and heart. At 18, she moved to St. Louis on her own during World War II, where she later met her husband, Cliff. During the Great Flood of 1993, Willie helped fill sandbags and feed volunteers working to protect her hometown.

Willie loves reading, dancing, and bringing people together. Please join us in wishing her a very happy 103rd birthday!

Today, our residents put their fishing skills to the test with a fun game of “Gone Fishin’ for Goldfish”with our Director or Nursing, Paige. Using fishing poles, they tried to reel in bags of Goldfish crackers, The simple joys are often the best—fresh air, good friends, and a tasty treat at the end of the line!
