Last week Waterloo Officers took our Police Explorers to the MILO simulator at the Southwestern Illinois Police Academy. The MILO system is an interactive simulator that allows the Explorers to train in real world scenario's in a safe environment. This is the same system used in police trainings. The focus of this training lesson was use-of-force, de-escalation, and decision-making, giving them a look at what an officer may experience.

If you know someone who is considering a career in Law Enforcement and would like to volunteer in their community the Waterloo Police Explorers is a great opportunity.

Requirements:
Must be 14-20
Within good standing at school
Attend Monthly Meetings/Trainings
