For 23 incredible years, East High has proudly honored the athletes who have soared on the gridiron, re-writing record books and shaping the legacy of Trojan Football. ✨
This year, we invite the entire Waterloo community to join us on September 10th as we induct six incredible icons into the East High Ring of Honor! ⚡️
🌟 Meet the Class of 2026 🌟
In Memoriam: Jim Hoosman (Class of 1958)
A powerhouse offensive back who earned 1st Team All-State honors and a prestigious Midwest All-American selection.
Brett Clark (Class of 1998)
A shutdown defensive back, 2-time All-Metro and All-Conference selection, and voted East High’s Most Valuable Athlete.
Tony Brown (Class of 1969)
An outstanding guard and All-Conference, Honorable Mention All-State selection who anchored East's back-to-back State Championship teams in 1967 & 1968.
Kris Jones (Class of 1985)
An elite split end who led the entire Metro area in receiving yards and was voted East High’s Most Valuable Athlete.
D'Carlos Redmond (Class of 1989)
A dominant All-State lineman who paved the way for an undefeated regular season and led East deep into the 1988 state playoffs.
Sredrick Robinson (Class of 1993)
A versatile, 2-time All-State selection at both receiver and defensive back who powered East to a 1991 playoff berth.
Celebrate the history, the passion, and the legendary men who defined East High excellence! This event is free and open to the public—we want to see the Trojan Nation out in full force!
