Waterford Junior High Families,
Thank you for your patience as we closely monitored the weather conditions while making decisions regarding tonight’s 8th grade graduation celebration. At this time, we are planning to move forward with the ceremony outdoors at Waterford Junior High, as the forecast indicates conditions will continue to clear throughout the afternoon.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m., and gates will open for admission at 6:15 p.m. Guests may enter through either the gate on Bentley Street, east of the school entrance, or the field gate on Welch Street. Additional parking will be available along Welch Street.
As a reminder, the following items are not permitted at graduation: large bags or coolers, chairs, air horns, confetti cannons, or any items that may obstruct the view of others, including umbrellas and balloons. Balloons and flowers may be checked in at the school library and picked up following the ceremony.
If conditions change unexpectedly, we will communicate any updates as quickly as possible.
