It may be summer, but we love showcasing our staff! Check out the Wolverine Spotlight of the week, Taylor Juran, who is a coach, advisor, and family and consumer science teacher with 6 years of teaching experience!
📍What inspired you to pursue your career path?
I have always wanted to be a teacher. Growing up, I used to play school in my childhood playroom, which I turned into my first classroom from a very young age. My Dad was also a high school teacher and I was always super inspired by his career choice.
📍What's a favorite way to spend a day off?
Baking sourdough bread!

It was Claire Freeze's first time doing a fundraiser, but she excelled and was recently named the 2026 Milwaukee American Heart Association Teen of Impact winner.

We are proud of our students who not only graduated from WUHS, but also from GPS Education Partners! Congratulations to Brayden Crouch, Jason James Torrent, Matthew Milam, and Stone Piper.
GPS helps students transition from the learning environment to the working environment by providing first-hand experience in meaningful technical careers. This early career exposure prepares students for life as working adults and creates opportunities for schools, businesses, and communities.
