This morning crews were dispatched to a house fire in Waterford Boro. A quick knockdown was made on a fire that extended from a chimney and into the roof and attic area. Departments assisting on scene were Kuhl Hose Fire Department, Perry Hi-Way Hose Company, Mill Village Volunteer Fire Company and EmergyCare.

Early Saturday morning crews were dispatched to a residential structure fire. It took numerous hours to control the fire. High winds hampered efforts in controlling the blaze. Assisting on scene were Perry Hi-Way Hose Company, Kuhl Hose Fire Department, McKean Hose Company, Mill Village Volunteer Fire Company, Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department, Union City Volunteer Fire Company and Wattsburg Hose Company. EmergyCare ambulance was also staging on scene. PSP is investigating the cause.
