⚠️ The Guardian has an important reminder.

Your toilet is not a trash can.

Many sewer backups and pump station clogs are caused by items that should never be flushed.

🚫 “Flushable” wipes
đźš« Paper towels
đźš« Grease or fats
đźš« Feminine hygiene products

Even products labeled “flushable” do not break down like toilet paper and can damage pumps and clog sewer pipes.

When these materials enter the wastewater system, crews have to remove them by hand to keep the system running.

The Guardian asks for your help:

Only flush the three P’s
✔️ P*e
✔️ P**p
✔️ (Toilet) Paper

Protecting the system protects everyone.

Help the Guardian keep Waterford's system flowing.
