Our crew had a great time attending STEAM Night at Washington Caldwell! It was awesome to see so many curious and excited students exploring science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. We loved talking with everyone about fire safety, showing off some of our equipment, and letting the kids get hands-on with fun activities. Thank you to for inviting us and to all the families who stopped by our table. We’re always proud to be part of our community and help inspire the next generation!

Thank you to all departments that participated this weekend in 2 full days of live fire training in 2 different acquired structures. It’s trainings like these that truly gives all involved a glimpse at the reality of a real world fire in a controlled environment. Special thanks to Perry, retired Milwaukee Fire and Alex, retired City of Racine for helping with instructing and sharing your valuable knowledge

Just an FYI to the community that we will also be conducting a live training burn today. You may see smoke and fire activity in the area, but please know this is intentional and fully controlled as part of our training exercises. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

Yesterday our members responded to a brush fire in our community. Thanks to the quick actions of our crews, the fire was brought under control and contained safely.

Brush fires can spread rapidly, especially with dry conditions and wind, so we remind everyone to use caution when burning and to follow local guidelines.

We’d also like to give a big thank you to Jackson for capturing these photos and sharing them with us, we appreciate it! 🌾🔥🚒🚑

Tonight our members trained on Rescue and MAYDAY operations at a real training house, and the turnout was incredible! MAYDAY training is critical. When a firefighter calls a MAYDAY, it’s one of the most high-stress, time-sensitive situations on the fireground. Practicing firefighter rescue, communication, accountability, and coordinated response ensures we’re prepared to act quickly and effectively to bring our own home safely.

The strong attendance tonight speaks volumes about the dedication of our members. We don’t train because it’s easy, we train because it matters. The work put in tonight directly translates to safer operations for our crews and better service to our community. Proud of this team and the commitment to getting better every training!

Thank you Sergeant Schweitzer for teaching a couple of our members about ATV/UTV safety! ATV/UTV incidents are some of the most unpredictable and high-risk calls EMS and Fire respond to, especially in rural and off-road areas. That is exactly why formal safety training is so important for our responders!

🚑 Safety first, trails second! 🧑‍🚒

We just wrapped up our first-ever ATV/UTV Safety Class for local First Responders. Our fire and rescue teams are leveled up and ready to respond whenever—and wherever—you need them.

Don't get left in the dust—get certified!

This past Saturday, we had six members of our company attend an Ice Rescue Training hosted by the Kansasville Fire Department. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Kansasville for putting on an outstanding training and allowing our members the opportunity to participate.

Trainings like this are extremely valuable, especially for departments serving areas where ice-related emergencies are a real risk. Ice rescue incidents are complex, high-risk, and require specialized skills, teamwork, and equipment. By attending hands-on training like this, our members are able to strengthen their technical rescue abilities, improve safety practices, and enhance coordination during emergency situations. Opportunities to train alongside other departments also help build strong working relationships and improve mutual aid response capabilities, ultimately benefiting the communities we all serve.

Thank you again to the Kansasville Fire and Rescue Department and all instructors who made this training possible. We appreciate your commitment to firefighter safety and continued educatin!

This past week, five members of our company attended the (Wisconsin EMS Association) WEMSA Conference and Expo in Green Bay. This event is a large EMS-focused conference that provides education on current emergency medical practices, patient care advancements, leadership, and provider wellness. The expo also allows members to explore new equipment, technology, and resources that help improve emergency response. Attending conferences like this gives our members valuable continuing education, hands-on learning opportunities, and new ideas they can bring back to better serve our community. We are proud of their dedication to ongoing training and their commitment to providing high-quality care. We are very grateful for this opportunity!
