Health officials said it's the county's first probable case this year.

Like all Americans, I’ll never forget the morning of 9/11: the shock and horror, the incredible bravery of the first responders and the unimaginable pain of those who lost loved ones.

I also remember how this act of terrorism on our shores united us as Americans in our shared values. It is my hope that, as we remember this tragic day, we also recommit ourselves to that unity of spirit and purpose that helped heal us then and remains the way forward today.

Couldn’t let summer end without acknowledging another successful Coulter Cup with our economic development partners at Oakland Thrive. The fourth annual event welcomed 141 golfers and raised $71,500 to support small businesses and entrepreneurs throughout Oakland County.
