⏰It's that time of year again when all the little ghouls and goblins of Waterford head out in search of tricks and treats on Halloween night. 🍭🍬🍫

Suggested trick-or-treat hours in Waterford are 6-8 PM this year, but many neighborhoods choose to do their own thing, while others stick to the suggested hours.

Whether you're heading out to trick-or-treat or not, please keep these tips in mind to help keep our youngsters safe:

🚗Motorists, please exercise extra caution‼️Halloween evening.
Obey posted speed limits, avoid distractions while driving, and watch for🚶‍♀️pedestrian traffic.

Allow extra travel time, as rush-hour traffic is usually heavier on Halloween. 🚗🚕🚙🚌

🎃 Trick-or-Treaters - please look both ways 👀👀 before entering a roadway, utilize reflective items on dark clothing, carry a flashlight, and go out in groups and/or with an adult chaperone.

👮‍♀️Waterford Police Dept. volunteers will scan candy from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Waterford Police Station, 5150 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48329.
