What a great event we had this past weekend! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Purse Bingo at Hawk Ridge Winery last Friday. It was an incredible evening filled with fun, laughter, and so many amazing purses and prizes won throughout the night. We are so grateful for the support of our community, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the event such a success. We can’t wait to do it all again this fall!

Do you know a graduating senior from Waterbury Public Schools who is pursuing a degree in education? Literacy Volunteers of Greater Waterbury is currently accepting applications for the Katherine A. Berman Memorial Scholarship.

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from a public high school in Waterbury who plans to pursue a degree in education at a college or university. Established in memory of Katherine A. Berman, the scholarship honors her commitment to the mission of Literacy Volunteers of Greater Waterbury and her dedication to service in the community.
