The senior center provides programs and services, which empower and improve an aging individual’s mind, body and spirit, with a goal of decreasing isolation.

🚤🌞 A Day on the Water! 🌞🚤
The Waterbury Senior Center had a wonderful day aboard the Quassy Queen! Everyone enjoyed beautiful views, good company, plenty of laughs, and making memories together out on the water. A big thank you to the Connecticut Community Foundation for sponsoring this special trip. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure on September 2. We will begin registration for this next boat ride on August 21! ⚓️

💜🌿 What a wonderful day at Sunshine Lavender Farm! 🌿💜
The Waterbury Senior Center enjoyed a relaxing bus trip to Sunshine Lavender Farm, where everyone had the opportunity to participate in a fun, hands-on lavender soap making class. From learning a new skill to exploring the beautiful lavender farm, it was a day filled with laughter, friendship, and wonderful memories. Thank you to the Connecticut Community Foundation for sponsoring this trip and BRASS for sponsoring the transportation. Our members really enjoyed making handmade soaps.
