We proudly participated in the Flag day ceremony with the New Haven Elks lodge showing all the stages of our flag and their significance. Was a great event rich in history and tradition.

CPR lesson week 1 taught by AV Rizzio. Plus we welcomed 4 new recruits that got their first lesson in standing in formation taught by PFC Green C.

Spring encampment 2026 day 2, filled with a lot of exciting activities!

Fire team flag making.
Morning hike.
Build your own trail mix.
Using a compass to locate the smores supplies.
Fire starting lesson.
Using and eating MREs.
Chicken nuggets over the fire.
And the night isn't over!

We had the pleasure of honoring our veterans at Honor flight Connecticut today. Such a great experience for our Young Marines and our very own LCpl Moyher got to send off his grandpa! 🇺🇲🇺🇲

We had a special visit today at drill from Peter DePaola, Chaplin for Marine Corps League Department of Connecticut. He will be our Marine Corp league liason and we look forward to working with him!

Work and a little play at Woodbury Earth day festival. We are always happy to help with the setup and breakdown of this event.
Our YMs got to learn about trees, animals, bugs and how to be kind to mother earth! 🌏

We have officially kicked off our field of flags fundraiser for honoring our past and present service members. All flags will be on display at the Wheeler-Young VFW Post 201 from May 16th through the end of June. This is a great way to celebrate all of our veterans and service members and support our organization!

The Brass City Young Marines is proud to announce the return of the Field of Flags fundraiser. The Field of Flags fundraiser is a patriotic way to remember and honor our veterans.
