Please join us in congratulating Stacy Kroeger, our September Community Center Spotlight honoree! 🎉

Since joining the Watauga Community Center in 2023, Stacy has become a wonderful part of our community. She teaches line dancing, helps with our Mahjong class, enjoys playing pickleball, and participates in many other activities. No matter what she’s doing, Stacy consistently brings kindness, encouragement, and a positive attitude to those around her. 💪

We’re grateful for the energy and dedication Stacy shares with our members and staff each week.

Pickleball players ages 45+ are invited to join us for a fun and competitive Women’s Doubles & Beginners Tournament on Friday, September 25!

🎉 What a phenomenal week at the Watauga Active Adult Center!

Our members enjoyed another week filled with fun, learning, and connection through a variety of classes and programs!

From Music Bingo, brought to you by our wonderful Active Adults, and Activities & Stories with the Watauga Public Library, to Chronic Pain Management classes, Mahjong, and so much more, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 🎶📚🀄

We also want to give a special thank-you to Encompass Health for providing a wonderful Birthday Breakfast for our members! 🎂🍳

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this another memorable week at the Watauga Active Adult Center. We always enjoy seeing our members stay active, connected, and involved! ❤️

⚠️ Park Notice: Restrooms Temporarily Out of Service

The restrooms at Capp Smith Park Pavilion #3, located near the Starnes end of the park, are currently out of service due to a water leak. Water to the restrooms has been temporarily shut off while repairs are being made.

Repairs are currently expected to be completed tomorrow.
