Command Chief Warrant Officer Five Pamela Vitt, command chief warrant officer for the Alaska Army National Guard, congratulates Ben Russel on his selection to the Warrant Officer Flight Training program on Monday. Russel is the first applicant from the Alaska National Guard to be selected for the Street to Seat program that takes civilians with no military service and sends them to Basic Combat Training, Warrant Officer Candidate School and Flight School to become Army helicopter pilots.
