Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Camas-Washougal’s Sophomores of the Month for April and May!

These outstanding students were selected by their school staff in recognition of their academic achievement, positive attitude, strong character, and the meaningful contributions they make to their school communities. Their dedication helps create supportive and successful learning environments for their fellow students.

We are proud to celebrate these young leaders and all they have accomplished. We wish them the best as they continue their educational journeys and compete for the Sophomore of the Year scholarship award this June.

This is a chance to come together and make a real impact right here in our community. Whether you’re coming with friends, family, or on your own—everyone is welcome.

Our Camas-Washougal Rotary had the opportunity to purchase $3,000 worth of essentials for the Washougal Family Community Center to support local students and their families!

On Saturday, we gathered to celebrate the life of Rotarian Molly Coston, a woman whose dedication, compassion, and vision made our world brighter.
Molly lived a life rich with adventure, service, and deep connection to community. In all that she did, she embodied Rotary’s Four-Way Test: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? These weren’t just guiding questions for Molly, they were principles she lived by every day.
Throughout our community, Molly leaves behind countless places she touched, shaped, and filled with beauty. Among her most enduring legacies is her work with the Rotary Club of Camas-Washougal to bring Peace Poles to our community. Through her leadership and unwavering dedication, these powerful symbols now stand as reminders that peace begins within each of us.
Molly’s commitment to service, collaboration, and global understanding reflects the very heart of Rotary. These Peace Poles are more than landmarks, they are daily invitations to choose kindness, unity, and hope.
