In Remembrance
As we observe September 11, Moffat Library would like to remind our community that we now offer a pass to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York City as part of our Museum Pass Program.
The Museum preserves the history of September 11, 2001, honors those who lost their lives, and provides a place for remembrance and reflection.

Stop by the library and meet our prehistoric residents! 🦕 This year's Summer Reading theme, "Unearth a Story," has inspired a colorful herd of library dinosaurs, including David Moffasaurus, Pinkalicious the Dinosaur, Mossasaurus, Detective Dino, a family-and-friends Dino, and a one-of-a-kind abstract Dino.
Take a stroll through the library to discover them all, then unearth a story of your own to take home. You never know what adventure you'll dig up next!

Our Tea Rex Tea Party was a wonderful success! We all had a great time practicing our tea etiquette and dinosaur etiquette. We also read Tea Rex by Molly Idle.

🇺🇸 Adult Take & Make: Patriotic Pinwheels!🇺🇸

Celebrate the season with a charming DIY craft! Stop by the Moffat Library to pick up a free Adult Take & Make Kit tocreate your own festive patriotic pinwheel. Each kit includes patterned paper, a paper straw, and a fastener. All you need is a pair of scissors and a hole punch.

Pinwheels have delighted people for centuries and have long been a symbol of joy, hope, and childhood. In the United States, red, white, and blue pinwheels have become a favorite decoration for summer holidays like Memorial Day and Independence Day, bringing a little movement and whimsy to front porches, gardens, and celebrations.

On Monday July 20 at 6 pm and in keeping with the library’s summer reading theme, join writer and book coach MJ Hanley-Goff for a memoir writing class. Students will focus on one story from their collection of experiences that they want to put into writing. Bring a laptop or notebook, and any photos you may have for reference.
