Mark your calendars! Rappahannock County will be hosting a Household Harmful Waste & Electronic Recycling event.

What is household harmful waste? The EPA considers any material that is toxic, corrosive, chemically active, ignitable, or explosive as a harmful material. Many of these items are found throughout the home and garage. Proper use and disposal of these items are vital for the safety of your family and the environment.

They also explore how communities can reduce light pollution to preserve the night sky and improve the health of natural and human built environments. Rappahannock County Park is Virginiaโ€™s only County, dark-sky designated park.
