A Big Thank You to the Traveling Archivist Program!

We are very grateful to the Traveling Archivist Program (TAP), administered by the State Archives of North Carolina and funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC).

A special thank you to Adrienne Berney and Ari Smith for sharing their time and knowledge with our staff and volunteers. Ari was incredibly helpful with several of our archival projects, and we are so appreciative of the hands-on support!

We also received archival textile boxes and various preservation supplies that will help us better protect our collections for generations to come.

Thank you, TAP, for helping small libraries and museums like ours preserve our history and make it accessible to our community members.

⚠️ 🚧 Building Maintenance 🚧⚠️

Over the next several weeks, you may see some exterior maintenance work happening around the library.

On occasion, we may need to temporarily reroute our entrance or close our side driveway for safety. The library will remain open, and we’ll do our best to keep any disruptions to a minimum.

Please stay tuned for updates as the work continues.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!
For any questions, please call (252) 946-4300.
