Washington County Department of Human Services is a unified system of support for individuals and families in Washington County, PA that aims to promote self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life. The Washington County Department of Human Services is comprised of Aging Services, Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, Children and Youth Services, Veterans Affairs, Housing and Homelessness Coordinator, Centralized Intake/Help Center, Clinical Unit, and Care Management Unit.

We had a great time attending the Healthy Kids Expo that was arranged by the Community Health Council is partnership with the Washington County Health & Welfare Council. They had character visits, face painting, healthy food , resources and so much more! Come see us Monday at the Monongahela Library from 12:30-2 and then Washington Park at the International Overdose Awareness Day from 4:30-7:00!

The weather is looking beautiful on Saturday for the Healthy Kids Expo at the Washington Wild Things stadium. Join us for an afternoon full of cooking demonstrations, vendor tables, face painting, games, character appearances and more! We will be set-up along the 3rd base line and look forward to seeing you there!
