American Made Coalition
OVERVIEW
Manufacturing is the backbone of the American economy. A strong manufacturing industry means jobs, innovation and prosperity. Unfortunately, excessive federal regulations caused many American manufacturing businesses to leave the United States; taking American jobs with them. It’s time to bring those jobs back to America.
The American Made Coalition was started to bring together small American manufacturing businesses and show policy makers – on both sides of the aisle – that small manufacturing businesses are being destroyed, and it is time to incentivize manufacturing businesses to stay in America and bring back those manufacturing businesses that left our country.
BENEFITS
The American Made Coalition offers several benefits to its members, including, but not limited to:
(1) Coalition members have the opportunity to help shape policy that directly affects them. This will be done through direct meetings with policy makers, as well as the development of white papers, oral and written testimony at Congressional hearings, and responses to Federal Register Notices of proposed regulations.
(2) Coalition members have the opportunity to participate in Congressional and Administrative staff briefings.
(3) Coalition members will receive updates on key legislation, regulations and grant opportunities with the Federal government. Also, Coalition members will have the opportunity to build business relationships with each other.
(4) Coalition members will have the opportunity to meet and work with other organizations that share strategic interests. As a result, Coalition members will reap the benefits of a multiplier effect that would not be available as a single business entity.
MISSION
The Mission of the American Made Coalition is to provide an opportunity for small American manufacturing businesses to have collective voice in the development of key legislation and regulations, and to educate policy makers on the value of small American manufacturing businesses.
