ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպանությունը Վաշինգտոնի «Նեդս» ակումբում կազմակերպել է հայկական բրենդիի համտեսի երեկո՝ նվիրված դրա պատմությանը, արտադրության ավանդույթներին և առանձնահատկություններին:

Միջոցառմանը բացման խոսքով հանդես է եկել ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպան Նարեկ Մկրտչյանը։ Գործարար Կարեն Մեյմարյանը ներկայացրել է հայկական բրենդիի պատմությունն ու արտադրության առանձնահատկությունները, ինչպես նաև համտեսի համար ընտրված տեսակները։
Երեկոն նաև հնարավորություն է տվել քննարկել հայկական բրենդիի նկատմամբ հետաքրքրությունն ու դրա համար նոր շուկաների ներուժը։

Միջոցառմանը ներկա են գտնվել ամերիկյան քաղաքական, դիվանագիտական, ակադեմիական և գործարար շրջանակների ներկայացուցիչներ։

The Embassy of Armenia to US hosted an evening dedicated to the history, production traditions, and distinctive characteristics of Armenian brandy at Ned’s Club in Washington, D.C.

The event opened with remarks by Ambassador of Armenia to the United States Narek Mkrtchyan. Businessman Karen Meymaryan presented the history and production traditions of Armenian brandy, as well as the selected varieties featured during the tasting.

The evening also provided an opportunity to discuss interest in Armenian brandy and the potential of new markets for the product.

The event was attended by representatives of American political, diplomatic, academic, and business circles.

🇦🇲🇺🇸 Remarks by Abraham Hamadeh, Member of the U.S. House Committee on Armed Services, who visited Armenia last month and met with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other Armenian officials, have been entered into the Congressional Record of the U.S. House of Representatives:

💬 I rise today with tremendous respect to recognize Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the enduring American-Armenian partnership.
Armenia stands among the world’s oldest civilizations, preserving a rich cultural and spiritual heritage that has endured for millennia. Today, under his leadership, Armenia finds itself at a defining moment in its modern history. His government’s efforts to strengthen democratic institutions, secure lasting peace, and expand Armenia’s partnerships with the United States and Europe have earned the attention and admiration of many who recognize the significance of this historic opportunity.

📌 The growing strategic partnership between the United States and Armenia reflects this remarkable progress. President Trump’s leadership to join him and President Ilham Aliyev in signing a trilateral Joint Declaration marked an important milestone in advancing peace and stability in the South Caucasus. His meetings with President Trump, his participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos at his invitation, and Armenia’s role as a founding member of the Board of Peace initiative, demonstrate a shared commitment to diplomacy, regional stability, and a stronger United States-Armenia relationship.

📌 His efforts to normalize relations with Azerbaijan represent one of the most consequential diplomatic initiatives in Armenia’s modern history. Following his party’s victory in the June 2026 parliamentary elections, the Armenian people entrusted his government with a renewed mandate to pursue a permanent peace.

Դեսպան Նարեկ Մկրտչյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել «The Jamestown Foundation»-ի ներկայացուցիչների հետ։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում դեսպանը ներկայացրել է Հայաստան–ԱՄՆ երկկողմ օրակարգի առաջնահերթությունները, անդրադարձել երկու երկրների ռազմավարական համագործակցության զարգացման ընթացքին։

Քննարկվել են համագործակցության հնարավոր ուղղություններն ու համատեղ տարբեր ձևաչափերի իրականացման հեռանկարները՝ փորձագիտական և վերլուծական շրջանակի միջև փոխգործակցության խորացման նպատակով։

Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan held a meeting with representatives of the Jamestown Foundation.

During the meeting, the Ambassador presented the priorities of the Armenia–U.S. bilateral agenda and addressed the progress in developing strategic cooperation between the two countries.

The discussion focused on potential areas of cooperation and prospects for implementing joint initiatives, with the aim of further deepening engagement between expert and analytical communities.

Դեսպան Նարեկ Մկրտչյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել Սպիտակ տան հավատքի գրասենյակի ղեկավար, նախագահ Թրամփի երկարամյա հոգևոր հովիվ Փոլա Ուայթ-Քեյնի հետ։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում զրուցակիցները կարևորել են հավատքի և հոգևոր արժեքների նշանակությունը՝ ընդգծելով դրանց դերը խաղաղության և համերաշխության ամրապնդման գործում։
Դեսպանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Հավատքի գրասենյակի և դեսպանության միջև ձևավորված համագործակցության, ինչպես նաև քրիստոնեական նախաձեռնություններին ցուցաբերվող աջակցության համար։

Մտքեր են փոխանակել նաև փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող հարցերի շուրջ, անդրադարձել ՀՀ–ԱՄՆ միջև տարբեր ուղղություններով համագործակցության զարգացման հնարավորություններին։

Արիզոնայում ՀՀ պատվավոր հյուպատոս Վարդան Արաբյանը, որպես ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ դեսպանության ներկայացուցիչ, մասնակցել է կոնգրեսական Աբրահամ Համադեի կողմից, ի պատիվ ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի խոսնակ Մայք Ջոնսոնի, կազմակերպված ընդունելությանը։

Ընդունելության ընթացքում հյուպատոս Արաբյանը կարճատև զրույց է ունեցել խոսնակ Ջոնսոնի և կոնգրեսական Համադեի հետ։ Զրույցի ընթացքում կարևորվել են Սպիտակ տանը 2025 թվականի օգոստոսի 8-ին կայացած Խաղաղության գագաթնաժողովին հաջորդած ձեռքբերումները, ինչպես նաև ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի աջակցությունը տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության հաստատման ու ամրապնդման գործում։

Հյուպատոսը նաև փոխանցել է դեսպան Նարեկ Մկրտչյանի շնորհակալությունը՝ դեսպանությանը ընդունելությանը մասնակից դարձնելու համար:

Vardan Arabyan, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Arizona, representing the Embassy of Armenia in the United States, attended a reception hosted by Congressman Abraham Hamadeh in honor of Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson.

During the reception, Consul Arabyan had brief conversations with Speaker Johnson and Congressman Hamadeh. The discussions highlighted the progress achieved following the Peace Summit held at the White House on August 8, 2025, as well as U.S. President Donald Trump’s support for establishing and strengthening peace in the region.

The Consul also conveyed Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan’s appreciation for including the Embassy in the reception.
