CASE UPDATE from FBI - Tampa Celso Navarro Diaz was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for conspiring to traffic more than five kilograms of co***ne on vessels subject to the jurisdiction of the United States and conspiring to import more than five kilograms of co***ne into the United States.

According to testimony and evidence presented during the five-day trial, Navarro Diaz was the head of an organization in Colombia that transported co***ne and ma*****na from the Pacific coast of Colombia to Costa Rica.

NEWS ALERT from FBI - Los Angeles: A resident of the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles and one-time podcaster was arrested today on a three-count federal grand jury indictment charging him with threatening to kill President Donald Trump and cyberstalking and harassing President Trump’s personal lawyer and that lawyer’s family.

Benjamin Azariah Southworth, 40, was arrested this morning and is expected to make his initial appearance and be arraigned this afternoon in United States District Court in downtown Los Angeles.

Southworth is charged with one count of threats against the President, one count of cyberstalking, and one count of harassing telephone calls in interstate communications.

NEWS ALERT from FBI - Chicago: Federal Judge Sentences Man to 19 Years in Prison for Violently Robbing Two Banks in Downtown Chicago

Jawad Hakeem has been sentenced to 19 years in prison after pleading guilty for his role in two violent bank robberies in downtown Chicago. Hakeem brandished a handgun during both bank robberies, which occurred in March 2023. During the second robbery, Hakeem fired nine shots at the bank's security personnel.

According to the FBI's 2025 Reported Crime in the Nation report, robbery rates dropped 18.5% nationwide and 33.4% in the state of Illinois. This sentencing, along with the decreasing crime rates, confirm the FBI's commitment to crushing violent crime and bringing criminals to justice.

A Russian national has been indicted for using a freelance-employment platform to distribute malware to approximately 80,000 users. Prosecutors allege that Searzhudin Tamirlanovich Aktulaev created 255 fraudulent accounts to send messages with malicious attachments, enabling him and his co-conspirators to harvest stolen data for fraud and other criminal activity.
