My Reflection on “The Highest Ground” from Amb, Pas, Miatta Sirleaf.
I am sincerely grateful to Mother Hak Ja Han Moon for providing us with this valuable education and information, which has helped me gain a deeper understanding of the life, heart, and teachings of Jesus Christ.
I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to True Father for his vision and teachings, and special appreciation to Present Demian Dunkley for the inspiring lecture and meaningful discussion.
During the session, I was asked to share my personal experience and reflection on the discussion, “The Highest Ground.” For me, the discussion was a powerful reminder that the highest ground is found in love, forgiveness, humility, compassion, and living for others.
My understanding is that Jesus Christ demonstrated the highest form of love by teaching us to forgive, care for one another, and overcome division with love. This discussion challenged me not only to understand these principles but also to practice them in my everyday life.

We are excited to announce our upcoming “Peace Starts With Me” program, scheduled for September 26, 2026, in Liberia.
This important initiative is being championed by Mother Hak Jam Moon, under the Peace Starts With Me Initiative (UPF), with the dedicated support and collaboration of the entire staff of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF).
The program is a call for every Liberian to recognize that peace begins with me, peace begins with you, and peace begins with all of us.
Through this initiative, we seek to promote peacebuilding, unity, reconciliation, tolerance, respect, dialogue, and positive community engagement, while inspiring individuals—especially young people—to become active agents of peace.
Let us come together on September 26, 2026, to celebrate the power of peace and reaffirm our commitment to building a more peaceful and united Liberia.

Elizabeth, NJ – Sunday Service Celebrates International Day of Families (May 24, 2026)

On May 24, 2026, the Peace Starts With Me (PSWM) Alliance Elizabeth marked the United Nations’ International Day of Families with a joyful celebration at Elizabeth Family Church. The event drew 85 participants, including three special guests.Co-sponsored by Elizabeth Family Church, UPF, and WFWP, with support from YSP, the program focused on the theme “Families, Inequalities and Child Wellbeing.” Rev. Crispin Lumbay served as emcee, while Rev. Barry Geller, Executive Director of UPF Northeast, delivered the keynote message emphasizing the importance of strong families in building peaceful communities and a harmonious world.The celebration featured vibrant cultural presentations from Lebanese, African, Filipino, and Japanese communities, along with international cuisine and a lively raffle with donated prizes.Participants experienced strengthened fellowship and renewed commitment to family values as the cornerstone of society and the foundation for future generations.This event reflects the PSWM Alliance’s mission of promoting God-centered families and interfaith unity in the vision of “One Family Under God.”
