Thanks to WASA I have more waters for our community. Please also call 202-612-3400 if you are a senior to have waters delivered. I’ll be out again delivering to our wonderful Seniors. Please don’t drink the water or cook with it. The ban has NOT been lifted for our SMD. Stay Safe.

Thank you volunteers for helping to get waters out that were donated by our Ward 4 Council office to our neighbors yesterday. You can get a case of water today at North Michigan Recreation Center or Turkey Thicket 9am - 5:pm We should still not drink or cook with the water from our homes. Stay safe everyone.

It’s that time of year again. Join Cease Fire Don’t Smoke the Brothers and Sisters 14th Annual Six Month Moratorium to STOP the Killings Cookout/Amateur Boxing Match Saturday, August 28th at Upshur Recreation Center. Donations are still being accepted.

Let’s get vaccinated DC. I’m out all day canvassing in support of our Mayor Muriel Bowser to get all of DC vaccinated. Already 90% of our Seniors are vaccinated. Great Job Mayor Bowser! I’m with you all the way!!!!

This made my morning and entire day seeing our former Councilmember TODD in Riggs. I love this man so much. He changed my life and the lives of so many in our Ward. Got to love him!!!!

You asked for it and we got it! Thanks to your speaking up for what you want to see in our community and working with former Councilmember Brandon TODD, I delivered! I’ll continue to work hard for you and make our community space useful and resourceful. I’ve heard from many of you about a outdoor fitness track, outdoor fitness zone, gazebo, another play area that could include a zip line and having a field open to our community. You’ve asked for programming, refreshing the interior and exterior of our center recreation and making iit look good and of course safe. Together we can make this happen. With you RIGGS Park family I’m not alone in this quest. I thank you all from the bottom of my Heart. Always For the LOVE of Riggs Park!!!!!
