Cedar Tree Academy Cedar Tree Academy (CTA) is an early childhood public charter school located in the southeast quadrant of the District of Columbia. Learning begins at birth.

We provide children at grade levels Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade access to exceptional learning. Caring for children and educating them must be inseparable. At Cedar Tree Academy our primary aim is to inspire each child to be a self-confident, inquiring, positive student. Our curricula and teachers help develop children with independent minds and a love for learning. Early childhood education is the foundation from which all other learning is built. At Cedar Tree Academy we believe all children have the right to be embraced as extraordinary.

Cedar Tree Academy turned PINK for a purpose!

Our scholars, staff, and school community came together for our Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, filling the day with hope, strength, love, and support for everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer.

From the handmade signs to every step taken together, our Cedar Tree family showed what it means to stand united for a cause bigger than ourselves.

Together, we walk. Together, we support. Together, we fight.

Breaking Ground. Building Our Future.

Yesterday marked a historic milestone for Cedar Tree Academy as our students, staff, school leadership, and community came together to celebrate the groundbreaking of our new building addition!

As Cedar Tree Academy continues to grow and expand to serve scholars from Pre-K 3 through 5th grade, this exciting development represents our commitment to providing more opportunities, more space to learn, and an even brighter future for our students.

Our scholars had the special opportunity to put on their hard hats, grab their shovels, and become part of Cedar Tree Academy history!

This is more than a building expansion. It's an investment in the next generation of leaders and the future of our school community.

We're not just expanding our building. We're expanding possibilities.

Learn Today. Lead Tomorrow.
