Honored to be at the White House today for Kevin Warsh’s swearing in as the new Chairman of the Federal Reserve. Chairman Warsh is the perfect choice for this job. He will focus the Fed on price stability and full domestic employment. I was able to shake Chairman Warsh’s hand and congratulate him on his new role leading the most important central bank in the world.

Good morning from U.S. Army Fort Campbell — home of the legendary 101st Airborne “Screaming Eagles” and the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. I met today with Brigadier General Travis McIntosh to hear directly about how I can support the nearly 30,000 active-duty soldiers stationed here. Heroes stationed here played a key role in carrying out the Venezuela operation and some are deployed in Operation Epic Fury right now. God bless our troops!
