Annie Ramos is a 22-year-old biochemistry student and the wife of an active-duty Army Staff Sergeant. Last week, she went to Fort Polk to get her military spousal ID. Instead of receiving her card, she was handcuffed and taken by ICE.

More than 60 members of Congress sounded the alarm. Senator Mark Kelly took it personally, calling the DHS Secretary directly to demand her release. Because of massive public pressure and $31,000 raised by the community, Annie walked out of detention on Tuesday.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco—who has basically become "Trump with a badge"—tried to pull a page straight out of the 2020 election denial playbook. After voters approved a map that could flip five House seats to Democrats, Bianco "seized" 650,000 ballots, claiming fraud without a shred of evidence.

He thought he could use his badge to override the will of the people. He was wrong.

The California Supreme Court just stepped in and SHREDDED his investigation. AG Rob Bonta called it a "constitutional emergency," and the court ordered Bianco to put the ballots down. By his own admission, Bianco found ZERO fraud.
