DC Anti-Violence Project The DC Anti Violence Project works to address all forms of violence against the LGBTQIA+ community.

The primary mission of the DC Anti-Violence Project (DCAVP) is to work to reduce violence against LGBTQIA+ individuals (and those perceived as LGBTQIA+) through community outreach, education, and monitoring cases to ensure that the rights and dignity of LGBTQIA+ victims of violence, trauma and abuse are respected and protected. DCAVP also seeks to assist survivors of anti-LGBTGIA+ violence by advo

Join us this Thursday (3/26) at 7 PM for our in person DCAVP quarterly meeting.

The primary mission of the DC Anti-Violence Project (DCAVP) is to work to reduce violence against LGBTQIA+ individuals (and those perceived as LGBTQIA+) through counseling, community outreach, education, and monitoring cases to ensure that the rights and dignity of LGBTQIA+ victims are respected and protected.

DCAVP also seeks to assist victims of anti-LGBTQIA+ violence by advocating on their behalf, encouraging reporting, and providing a community of support. For more information, email us at [email protected].

“Protecting Your Peace & Cultivating Q***r Joy” is a free 1.5-hour workshop – Via Zoom discussing boundaries, resilience, and forms of resistance for the LGBTQ+ community in the Washington, DC, region. We hope you leave with new skills and support to help you make it through an increasingly hostile political and media landscape.

We encourage you to find a private and comfortable spot to join the Zoom. Plan to arrive on time as no one will be let in after 7pm. This will include a period of imaginative reflection so feel free to bring a journal or art supplies, but it is not required.
