Friendship Woodridge International School is an International Baccalaureate World School that offers scholars an opportunity to explore global cultures while building foundational skills for lifelong learning. The Woodridge core academic program is supplemented by a foreign language program offering exposure of a second language to all scholars. Started in 1998 as a stand-alone elementary school for students in grades K-5, the Woodridge site was expanded in 2004 to add pre-school and middle school classes. Today, the Woodridge site is home to two campuses - Woodridge Elementary (PK-3) and Woodridge Middle (4-8).

💙💛 Happy September, PAC Family! 🦅✨

This month, we’re focused on Building Our Nest: Connecting With Each Other—because strong school communities are built through relationships, communication, and families feeling like they truly belong.

There are plenty of ways to get connected throughout September! Join us for PAC Chat & Chew on September 3 and 17, stop by Back-to-School Night on September 16, and make your voice heard at our PAC Meeting on September 17 at 4:30 PM. We also have our family September Scavenger Hunt happening all month long—complete the photo challenges and submit your pictures by September 30 for a chance to win prizes! 📸🎁

September is also a great time to establish strong routines, stay connected with teachers and school communication, celebrate the little wins with your scholar, and continue getting to know the people who make up our Woodridge community.

Join us on September 16 from 5:00–6:30 PM for our Back-to-School Night & After-School Club Interest Fair!

This is a great opportunity to connect with teachers, learn more about what scholars will experience this year, ask questions, and explore after-school opportunities available across campus.

🕔 5:00–5:15 PM — School-wide informational session in the gym
🏫 5:20–6:15 PM — Classroom time
🥤 6:15–6:30 PM — Light refreshments

Tomorrow marks our FIRST Snack Shack of the school year, and we’re kicking things off with a crowd favorite: PIZZA! 🍕🔥

Stop by the JA side from 3:30–3:45 PM to grab your favorite snacks and treats, including chips, drinks, candy, cookies, sports drinks, water, and our special item of the week.

📅 Snack Shack happens every 1st & 3rd Friday, so there will be plenty more chances to treat yourself throughout the year!

Friendship Public Charter School will be closing all aftercare activities early today, Thursday, August 20th, due to upcoming inclement weather.

We ask families to pick up their children as soon as possible and prioritize everyone’s safety as weather conditions develop.

A strong school day begins with being on time, fueled, and ready to learn! Breakfast is available each morning from 7:45–8:05 AM, and instruction begins promptly at 8:05 AM.

Families, please help us protect valuable learning time by having scholars arrive at 7:45 AM so they have enough time to eat, settle in, and be ready for instruction.

⏰ Scholars arriving at or after 8:05 AM may not have the opportunity to eat breakfast.
🍎 If breakfast is brought from home, it must be finished by 8:05 AM.

Thank you for partnering with us to set every scholar up for success from the very start of the day!
