💥FULL STORY: Gov. JB Pritzker deserves a lot of credit for supporting this bill and being one of the first major leaders in America willing to take AI safety seriously. While many politicians are still treating AI like a problem for the future, Pritzker is recognizing that the technology is already powerful enough to require oversight. Leadership means acting before a crisis happens, not after, and that's exactly what he's doing.

This bill basically says the biggest AI companies can’t just promise they’re being safe and expect everyone to take their word for it.

Under the law, independent experts would have to check whether companies like OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic are actually following their own safety rules and reporting serious risks. The goal is to catch problems before an AI system causes major harm, not after something goes wrong. Supporters say it’s good because powerful technology should have oversight and accountability, just like banks, airlines, and other industries that can affect millions of people.

If you read one thing tonight, read this: Deaths inside ICE detention facilities are climbing fast. Suicides are rising. Fear is rising. Desperation is rising. Immigrants are being locked away in overcrowded facilities with little transparency while the administration demands even harsher crackdowns.

And when officials fight inspections and oversight, people naturally start wondering just how bad conditions really are behind those walls. America is supposed to stand for human rights and dignity. We are better than this.

The trauma these people are facing because of the unhealthy and unsafe environment in these facilities was totally preventable. Not to mention shipping off immigrants to random countries other than where they’re from.

We are SO MUCH better than this! 🇺🇸

The man is obviously unwell. From the sleepless late-night social media rants, to the constant confusion, lack of awareness, and inability to stay focused during basic conversations, the warning signs are all there.

If you’re a wealthy president with billionaire allies, what’s really stopping powerful people from pressuring networks behind closed doors to kill a story?

Whatever was in that segment about the Salvadoran prisons must have been deeply damaging to Kristi Noem, Homeland Security, or Donald Trump for it to reportedly VANISH before the public EVER saw it!

If the reporting is accurate, thoroughly sourced, legally vetted, and in the public interest, then yes, many journalists and free press advocates would argue it should be published in some form.
