Recently, we partnered up with local Starbucks in the District to host a Youth Hiring Fair. Close to 200 Eventbrite invitations were accepted for youth ages 22 to 24, with 12 different Starbucks stores set to hire almost 30 new hires. Preliminary numbers show that 20 positions from baristas and/managers were filled. Due to the success of the hiring event, Starbucks has agreed to partner with the Office of Youth Programs in the near future for another hiring event.
