Our prekindergarten classes enjoyed an imaginative cruise adventure, exploring “islands” like Hawaii, Belize, Antigua, and Saint Martin. Dressed for vacation, students learned about diverse cultures, foods, and traditions.
* Hawaii: Students engaged in hula hoop lessons, crab fishing, and enjoyed slushies after visiting a gift shop.
* Belize: Activities included limbo dancing, sand-in-a-bottle crafts, and refreshing slushes, introducing them to Belize’s rich heritage.
* Saint Maarten: Young explorers fished, colored shells, and decorated headbands, learning about local music and enjoying ice pops.
* Antiqua: Students decorated fish, explored music, and experienced the island’s hospitality with a refreshing beverage.
This adventure provided a fun way for students to learn about different cultures.
