COLLAB ALERT!! Join GUCD and TODAY for two special events! First, at 4 pm at the Georgetown Capitol Campus (111 Massachusetts Ave.) we’ll chat with former Ambassador to Liberia and State Department spokesperson Mark Toner! Then, at 8pm, we’ll meet up in the Village A Community Room for a quick social mixer and dinner – DIG will be provided!

To get to the Capitol Campus, take MetroBus or 3:00 or 3:20 GUTS buses from the BTA on the Capitol Campus Shuttle Route.

Dr. Oye is a pharmacist, served as ANC commissioner, and has fought for housing affordability and DC Statehood during his tenure as shadow rep. We’ll hear his perspective on young adults in DC, local issues ahead of municipal elections, and more!

GUCD was thrilled to welcome Double Hoya and Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) SFS'66 L'69 back to campus last Tuesday, February 10! In our hour-long conversation and Q&A with Senator Durbin, he discussed his 20-plus year career in politics, the Trump Administration, the future of the Democratic Party, and more. Thank you Senator Durbin for spending time with us!
