DC Guitars Not Gun Violence

http://www.globaljamforpeace.com We recruit volunteers to teach guitar lessons to classes of DC youth. We provide classes at various times all over the city.

Students can earn a guitar to keep by participating in the class, learning a few basic chords, and memorizing the names of the guitar parts. All donations are used to buy guitars and equipment for students. The number of our locations and students is rapidly growing. Please consider volunteering your time (about 1 hour per week) to teach or assist in teaching.
