Sarah's Circle

Sarah's Circle Sarah’s Circle provides privately-subsidized affordable housing with services to help very low-income seniors age in place.

Sarah’s Circle is motivated by the vibrant vision that old age is alive with rich possibilities. We believe that intellectual and spiritual growth is integral to and continues at every stage of life. We implement this philosophy in two ways:

First, Sarah's Circle assures that the critical needs of our seniors are met so that the struggle for survival does not sap their energy, their creativity an

d their desire to continue living. We strive to have our residents pay no more than 30 percent of their net household incomes for rent, after deductions for medical expenses. Second, the organization provides opportunities for our seniors to expand their intellectual, physical and spiritual capabilities and experience a sense of accomplishment and self-worth, improving their quality of life. Seniors are also encouraged to become active members of the community by participating in learning circle classes or volunteering in the neighborhood.
