A strong record demonstrates the ability to deliver quality results on schedule, manage costs responsibly, and meet performance requirements. It reflects ex*****on, discipline, and reliability.

The Army uses past performance to inform best value decisions, not just lowest price determinations. When technical approaches are comparable, performance history often distinguishes one offeror from another. As part of its continued systems modernization initiative, GSA is retiring the public search functions of FPDS.gov and consolidating all contract award search capabilities within SAM.gov. Users can now access complete contract award data directly through SAM.gov.

Additionally, the FPDS.gov ATOM feed has been replaced by the SAM.gov Contract Awards API. The ATOM feed will be fully retired on July 31, 2026. Technical specifications for the API are available at open.gsa.gov.
