AFSA welcomes renewed attention to Anomalous Health Incidents (AHI) and the Foreign Service members, family members, and other public servants who have been affected while serving our country overseas.

We hope this step accelerates the care, answers, and support AHI victims deserve.

Earlier reviews had cast doubt on the idea that a foreign adversary was behind Havana syndrome, a range of symptoms that American spies and diplomats reported.
