The Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Washington, D.C. extends warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to all mothers and mother figures throughout our global diaspora.

In the world of diplomacy, we often speak of soft power, influence, and the building of bridges between people and nations. Perhaps there is no greater embodiment of these virtues than the enduring influence of a mother. Today, we honour the resilience, strength, leadership, and unwavering love that continue to shape our families, communities, and future generations.
